SALES ENGINEER

This role combines technical engineering expertise with strategic business development, providing innovative solutions to clients across the mining, manufacturing, industrial, and power generation sectors.
We are looking for a motivated and technically proficient Sales Engineer.
As a trusted technical advisor, you will help customers solve complex engineering challenges by recommending specialized products and services. The successful candidate will possess a strong engineering background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including Engineers, Maintenance Managers, Procurement teams, and Plant Managers.
- Identify customer needs and provide tailored technical solutions for industrial applications.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess equipment performance and recommend appropriate engineering solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer training sessions.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, production, and technical teams to provide exceptional customer support.
- Develop new business opportunities while managing and growing existing customer accounts.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently achieve sales and business development targets.
- Provide after-sales technical support to ensure long-term customer satisfaction.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in technical sales, business development, or application engineering within an industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to interpret technical information and present solutions to both technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
