About the position
About the Role
We're hiring a Sales Development Representative to join our outbound sales team. You'll be working at the intersection of social selling, data-driven outreach, and traditional SDR activity-using a unique, content-led approach to generate pipeline for the Account Executive team.
The core outbound strategy is built around industry leaderboards: data assets that rank companies by how actively their employees post on LinkedIn. You'll use these as the foundation for personalised, multi-channel outreach, combining LinkedIn social selling, email sequencing, and cold calling to engage Marketing and Sales leaders at relevant target companies. This role is ideal for someone who is fast, curious, personable, and who treats outreach as a craft rather than a numbers game.
What You'll Do
- Execute a leaderboard-led outbound playbook end-to-end, including contact sourcing, LinkedIn outreach, email sequencing, and follow-up across assigned industry leaderboards.
- Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and qualify ideal customer profile (ICP) contacts at target companies, building and managing named contact lists for outreach.
- Run LinkedIn outreach across personal and alias accounts by tagging companies in leaderboard posts, sending connection requests, and following up with personalised messages.
- Execute parallel email outreach using a sales engagement platform, leveraging personalised data fields such as leaderboard rankings and company activity to create relevant, targeted sequences.
- Cold call prospects as part of a multi-channel outreach strategy, with phone outreach serving as a key engagement channel alongside LinkedIn and email.
- Follow up promptly with high-intent leads, including prospects who download leaderboard content, using email and LinkedIn outreach within a short response window.
- Respond quickly to prospect engagement across LinkedIn, email, and social comments, recognising that timely responses significantly improve engagement.
- Book discovery and competitor analysis meetings for the Account Executive team using a meeting scheduling platform.
- Manage multiple outbound campaigns simultaneously, using sound judgement to prioritise and rotate focus as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of activity and meetings within the SDR tracking system, as data accuracy directly impacts reporting and commission.
- Create personalised, conversational messaging rather than relying on generic templates, with an emphasis on tone, relevance, and authenticity.
What You'll Work With
You'll be trained on our full stack, but familiarity with any of the following is a strong advantage:
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator - ICP sourcing, saved lead lists, job mover signals
- Lemlist - email sequencing, personalisation at scale, inbox management
- LinkedIn (personal and alias account management across multiple Chrome profiles)
- Chili Piper - meeting scheduling on behalf of AEs
- Notion - messaging templates, objection handling, ICP guides, training content
- Google Workspace and Gemini (AI writing assistance)
- Slack - team comms and hot lead alerts
Who You Are
- 2-5 years of experience in an SDR, BDR, or similar outbound sales role
- Comfortable with cold calling - you don't avoid the phone, and understand it as a genuine pipeline tool
- Experienced in multi-channel outbound: email, LinkedIn, and phone working together rather than in isolation
- Ideally, from a B2B SaaS background, with experience prospecting into Marketing leaders (CMOs, VPs of Marketing, Demand Generation) or Sales and Revenue leaders
- Exposure to Martech or adjacent SaaS markets is a strong plus
- Familiar with structured outbound methodologies and a data-driven approach to prospecting - experience with tools like Salesloft, Apollo, Outreach, HubSpot, or similar is valued
- Comfortable working with data - you don't need to be a spreadsheet expert, but you should be able to work with contact lists, apply filters, and use data to prioritise your outreach
- High energy, articulate, and resilient - you treat rejection as part of the process, not a reason to slow down
- Coachable and curious - willing to test new approaches, take feedback, and iterate quickly
- A self-starter who manages their own time well and holds themselves accountable to activity and output
- Logistics Location
- Workspace
- Reporting Line
- Remote (initially, potentially with office space TBC)
- Access to WeWork co-working space
- Reports to the SDR Manager
