Position Overview
We are seeking motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to join our clients' growing sales teams. The successful candidates will be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective customers, generating qualified sales opportunities, and supporting the business development function by building a healthy sales pipeline.
This role is ideal for energetic individuals with excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to prospecting, and a passion for sales. The SDR will work closely with Account Executives and Sales Managers to drive revenue growth through effective lead generation and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify prospective clients within target markets.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and other sales channels.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads against established criteria.
  • Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with potential clients by understanding their business needs and challenges.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system.
  • Follow up with prospects through multiple touchpoints to nurture opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to optimise lead generation strategies.
  • Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity and pipeline targets.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market developments.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activity, pipeline progress, and lead conversion metrics.

Minimum Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Sales Development Representative, Business Development Representative, Telesales, Internal Sales, Lead Generation, or similar sales role is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a neutral and professional telephone manner.
  • Confident speaking with decision-makers and building rapport over the phone.
  • A bubbly, friendly, and positive personality with a genuine passion for working with people.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and eager to learn.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho, or similar) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience selling B2B products or services.
  • Experience within SaaS, Technology, Professional Services, Telecommunications, Financial Services, Logistics, Recruitment, or similar industries.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other prospecting tools.
  • Understanding of modern sales methodologies such as SPIN Selling, Challenger, or MEDDIC.
  • Experience working with UK-based customers.
