About the position
Our client is looking for a Sales/Design Consultant to join their team in Stikland Industrial, Cape Town. The company specializes in kitchen and cupboard manufacturing, offering exceptional design services. They seek an independent and self-disciplined individual with a flair for design and a strong customer-focused approach. The ideal candidate will have experience in kitchen design and sales, with the ability to manage projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Discuss project requirements with clients.
- Prepare designs and specifications for the design team.
- Manage customer quotes, contracts, and payments.
- Meet sales targets and seek new business opportunities.
- Build a network with architects and builders.
- Oversee projects from inception to completion.
- Manage client expectations and provide regular feedback.
- Address and communicate any issues that arise during the project.
Requirements:
- Computer literacy.
- Mandatory kitchen design experience.
- 3-8 years of experience in the kitchen/manufacturing industry.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- High attention to detail.
- Familiarity with kitchen installation processes.
- Own transport.
- An interior design qualification is advantageous.
- Sales or project management experience is advantageous.
