Reports to - Key Accounts Manager

Role Overview
To serve as liaison between customers and the company by identifying and contacting current and prospective clients, generating ready-mix sales solutions and servicing customers to ensure satisfied customers, quality and consistency of service and product.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 Certificate with Maths (National Dip/BCom/BA Degree or studying towards would be an advantage).
- Minimum 5 years' experience
- Knowledge of the Construction Industry- Ready-Mix
- Good computer skills.
- Good knowledge of sales and advertising techniques.
- A good team player with a high level of dedication.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to persuade and influence others.
Experience
- 5 years related experience
Special Requirements
- Possess a valid driver's license (Code B)
Key Outputs
- To serve as liaison between the Sales department and Customers.
- Identifying and contacting current and new prospective clients.
- Generating sales proposals and servicing existing accounts to ensure quality and consistency of service and product delivery.
- Generate reports for Senior Management that will give a clear overview of sales activities in the areas responsible for, and detail that is required from time to time on a monthly basis.
- Respond to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when requested
- Inform customers of unforeseen delays or problems.
- Monitor the progress of the sales team, identify shortcomings, and propose improvements.
- Arrange and assist with the organizing of company marketing events.
- Ensure a healthy IR climate.
