Sales Consultant

About the position

Our client is seeking a confident, driven and results-oriented Sales Consultant to join their team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with prospective clients, presenting a high-value investment-related platform and closing sales.

This is a client-facing sales role suited to an individual with a strong sales background, excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a target-driven environment.

The successful candidate will sell a platform that provides direct access to the UK stock exchange.

Responsibilities: 

• Contact and engage with prospective clients generated through the company's lead-generation partners, including banks and booking agents.
  
  
• Conduct telephone consultations and deliver persuasive sales presentations.
  
  
• Explain the product, its benefits, pricing and available payment options to prospective clients.
  
  
• Arrange and attend client consultations to present the platform and close sales.
  
  
• Build trust with prospective clients and manage the sales process from initial contact through to successful conversion.
  
  
• Consistently work towards and achieve sales targets.
  
  
• Maintain professional communication and relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  
  
• Manage travel arrangements and associated costs when meeting clients.
  
  
• Work independently while maintaining consistent sales performance and accountability.
  
  

Requirements: 

• Language: Fluent in English and Afrikaans, with strong communication skills.
  
  
• Location: Must be based in Cape Town.
  
  
• Sales Experience: Proven sales experience with a strong ability to persuade, negotiate and close deals.
  
  
• Valid driver's licence.
  
  
• Own reliable vehicle.
  
  
• Confident, professional and well-presented.
  
  
• Target-driven, self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
  
  
• Willingness to work on a commission-driven remuneration structure.
  
  
• Comfortable meeting clients face-to-face when required.
  
  

Preferred Experience: 
Candidates from any industry will be considered, provided they demonstrate strong sales ability and a proven track record of closing deals.
