About the position
As a Sales Consultant at our establishment, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth through exceptional sales service. You will engage with both new and existing clients, leveraging your sales expertise to generate revenue and contribute to the overall profitability of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding sales service to clients, fostering strong relationships and driving business growth.
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities with new and existing clients.
- Utilize effective presentation and negotiation skills to close deals and meet sales targets.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of financial service products, with a focus on insurance.
- Utilize computer literacy skills to effectively navigate MS Office applications, email, and the internet.
- Exhibit sales behaviors such as competitiveness, persistence, and the ability to handle difficult clients.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and quality assurance standards.
- Employ effective probing and questioning techniques to understand client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and articulate demeanor.
- Proficiency in presentation and negotiation techniques.
- Familiarity with financial service products, particularly insurance (advantageous).
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office applications, email, and internet usage.
- Proven track record of sales success, with the ability to handle difficult clients and achieve targets.
- Commitment to compliance and quality assurance standards.
Education, Experience, and Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a call center environment, preferably in sales.
- Experience in selling short or long-term insurance products is highly desirable.
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification is essential.
- RE (Regulatory Examination) qualification is advantageous.
- FAIS (Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services) requirements based on DOFA (Date of First Appointment) are advantageous.
