About the position
Well known and leading medical supplier requires a Sales and Application Specialist for the Ultrasound Division based in Cape Town. Qualified Sonographer or a qualified Radiographer will be considered for an individual who is willing to train in Ultrasound.
A Grade 12 certificate as a minimum requirement. Radiography/Sonography qualification
Sales experience within the medical industry will secure
Ultrasound training will be provided
Developing an in-depth knowledge of the Ultrasound product range and services provided
Responsible for the sales of the ultrasound products, including maintaining and growing existing business and expanding of sales within the assigned territory
Scheduling and attending appointments with existing and potential customers
Demonstration of products to Clinical personnel and on-going training and support to customers
Installations and on-going training of units sold
Completion of weekly planner and activity report for submission to direct manager; including full reporting on the CRM system
Achieving Sales Targets
Responsible for networking with and development of relationships with new customers and managing existing customers
Correct Management of demo stock
Preparing and following up on quotations
Preparing Internal orders for stock requirements
Attending meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required to promote Ultrasound products and services
Analysing the market and providing business feedback by using all available support tools
General Administration associated with the position
Coordination with the technical manager to ensure prompt and efficient service to all customers
Assist in other provinces with demonstrations and applications when required
Previous Sales experience would be an advantage
Previous experience in a similar position in the medical industry is required
Radiography/Sonography background is required
