About the position
The Sales Analyst role is responsible for providing leverage to the Growth Function through proactively supporting the lead generation and conversion process, sales model, and the business development function as a unit.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collecting data
- Reviewing current customers
- Analyzing market trends
- Compiling detailed reports that provide leads on sales/growth opportunities for the BU
- Develop pre-read material for proposal development rhythms with support from BDM
- Co-ordinate registrations and collate supporting documentation for proposal development (where applicable)
- Update and maintain relevant proposal tracking system for each open proposal
- Own the maintenance and update of the Business Development SPO Folder
- Reorganize and streamline existing BD SPO Folder
- Update and maintain the calendar and associated agendas for BU rhythms including but not limited to:
- Pipeline check ins
- Growth Forums
- Team check ins
- Collaborate and co -ordinate with BUs to update and refresh content to ensure offerings are still relevant, Corporate Identity (CI) is consistent and
impact numbers are up to date - Provide support in preparation for client meetings
- Prepare any relevant research or update and share client dossier
- Prepare and own pre read for sessions
- Transcribe clients' needs and co-ordinate
debrief amongst relevant BUs - Create a standardized template for capturing
clients' needs relevant for all opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- ESSENTIAL Degree in Commerce or Engineering that enables analytical and problem-solving skills
- Relevant postgraduate qualification advantageous
- 3 years minimum Management Consulting experience; preferable
- Exposure to proposal development in part or full
- Exposure in a support function within consulting company
- Exposure to SME Development/Impact Investing
- Proficient in building business cost models
