A well-known water treatment solutions company requires the above to process, track and manage quotations and orders, as well as support all technical and service staff with all client queries and administrative aspects of the sales process. Minimum requirements for the role:
- A minimum of grade 12 is essential for this role.
- Previous experience having worked in an internal sales administration role or related is essential for the role.
- Previous experience having worked with an inventory system such as sap or related is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel, and Outlook experience is essential.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate work with various teams and contractors as well as customers.
- Ability to work independently and handle sensitive or confidential information with integrity.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Processing, tracking and managing quotations and orders, as well as supporting all technical and service staff with all client queries and administrative aspects of the sales process. Ensuring they are carried out effectively and efficiently.
- Logging and updating all quotation activities in live documentation to ensure visibility across relevant teams.
- Reviewing of quotation requests and escalating complex or unclear cases to the appropriate operations manager or national service manager.
- Monitoring quote timelines and ensuring all quotations are delivered within the required timeframe.
- Following up on outstanding or overdue quotations in a timely, professional manner.
- Maintaining and strengthening relationships with customers through consistent communication, support, and follow-through.
- Working closely with the national and district operations managers to ensure accuracy and alignment of clients needs.
- Maintaining accurate records of client interactions, quote revisions, and approvals.
- Supporting the sales team with the administrative tasks needed to streamline client engagement and technical quoting processes.
- Serving as a primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, service requests, and follow-ups in a professional and timely manner.
