About the position

A well-known and established food and flavours company requires the above to provide commercial and operational support to the sales teams by coordinating and liaising with customers and colleagues to handle all key internal sales administration responsibilities for the company to ensure that customers expectations are met at all times.
Minimum requirements for the role:

  •  Previous experience having worked in an internal sales administrative role is essential.
  • Previous experience having worked within the manufacturing or related environment is preferred but not essential.
  • The successful candidate must have attention to detail and be highly organised as well as be driven and able to take ownership.
  • The successful candidate must have good excel spreadsheet skills capabilities.
  • Previous experience working on Syspro or any other ERP System is preferred. If not the company is happy to train the person.
  • The successful candidate should be customer orientated, passionate and dedicated to working with customers.
  • Must be a team player and be able to work independently, but also in a team.
  • The candidate should have good communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Collecting ex-stock orders from the team or via email.
  • Instructing the logistics department to dispatch the goods.
  • Following up on deliveries, PODs, etc.
  • Emailing invoices, despatch notes, and waybill details to customers on request.
  • Confirming delivery date, po number, quantity, and selling price for each ex-stock order.
  • Instructing which indents to pull from to ensure stock rotation.
  • Rotating stock during the last week of every month so the oldest stock is dispatched first.
  • Supporting the sales team with orders.
  • Checking pricing against the stock summary and stock order.
  • Verifying the back order before placing new orders.
  • Organising air freight and placing air freight orders on back order.
  • Following up on outstanding order confirmations.
  • Handling dispatch and invoicing of airfreight orders.
  • Checking slow moving stock.
  • Informing the sales team of slow-moving stock on a monthly basis.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
