Sales Account Manager

About the position

A leading provider of integrated office technology solutions in South Africa is seeking a target-driven Sales Account Manager to join their Cape Town team. You will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients while actively driving new business acquisition across our technology solution suites.

Responsibilities:

• Client Relationship Management: Manage and retain an assigned portfolio of business accounts, ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction and renewal of service agreements.
  
  
• New Business Development: Proactively prospect, cold-call, and pitch solutions (office automation, telecoms, solar, IT) to potential commercial clients.
  
  
• Solution Selling: Conduct client needs assessments to present custom-fit technology rental and service packages.
  
  
• Pipeline & Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales revenue and gross profit targets.
  
  
• Account Administration: Prepare quotes, proposals, and lease agreements, maintaining accurate records on the internal CRM.
  
  

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience: 2–4 years of proven B2B sales/account management experience, ideally within Office Automation, Telecoms, IT, or Solar industries.
  
  
• Skills: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Strong ability to close sales cycles.
  
  
• Driver's License: Valid South African driver's license and own reliable vehicle (essential for client visits).
  
  
• Track Record: Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
