About the position
Our client within the payment software industry currently has the team growing rapidly and need an Expereinces Sales & Account Manager to join their team.
50% Hunter
50% Farmer
- Matric (NQF Level 4)
- B Com in Business Administration(NQF 7)
- 2 - 4 years' experience working in a corporate sales environment
- Experience in using a CRM tool for managing customers
- Intermediate knowledge using Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Intermediate knowledge of internet usage
- FICA training/experience advantageous
Sales, marketing, and industry knowledge:
- Sales Process
- IT software / SAAS and sales background
- Retail and payments industry experience would be an advantage
- PCI regulations and understanding would be an advantage
- Accounting knowledge
- Basic understanding of business finance
- Industry knowledge - specific to retail or banking (acquiring) industry
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for establishing & maintaining loyal customer relationships with the intention of increasing Customer Lifetime Value through implementing effective key account strategies.
- Effectively manage, interfaces with key accounts to ensure that the account is being serviced in an efficient and integrated way
- Proactively seeks and actions new opportunities in own area to develop the business commercially Solves problems independently.
- Breaks complex issues into manageable parts & recommends steps to resolve the problem.
- Planning, Measuring & Monitoring the Financial Performance of the Business
- Is able to improve the profitability and performance of the company through selling and negotiating skills
- Is able to maximise sales opportunities
