Job Title: SAIPA Trainee Accountant (Clerk)Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape
Hire Resolve's Client is seeking to Hire a SAIPA Trainee Accountant to join their team in Stellenbosch. It is a well-established firm in Stellenbosch is seeking enthusiastic and driven candidates to join their SAIPA Training Programme. As a SAIPA Trainee Accountant, you will gain hands-on experience in accounting and auditing, progressing towards your SAIPA Professional Accountant (SA) designation.
Minimum Requirements:
- South African citizen
- Completed Matric/NSC Certificate with solid academic results
- Studying towards or completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting / CTA or equivalent (preferred)
- Currently enrolled or intending to enroll in the SAIPA Professional Accountant (SA) training pathway
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
- Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and within deadlines
- Team player with a proactive attitude
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with financial reporting, bookkeeping, and audit support
- Prepare reconciliations, financial statements, and tax returns under supervision
- Support audit fieldwork and documentation
- Assist with compliance and statutory requirements
- Collaborate with senior staff for training and development
