About the position
Hire Resolve's Client are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SAICA Trainee to join our team on a 3-year training contract. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and fulfill the requirements of the SAICA training program while working towards becoming a Chartered Accountant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in audit, accounting, and taxation assignments under supervision.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Conduct research and analysis on financial data.
- Ensure compliance with SAICA regulations and company policies.
- Liaise with clients and team members to gather necessary financial information.
- Engage in professional development activities and study towards relevant qualifications.
Requirements:
- A SAICA-accredited degree (Preferably CTA/PGDA completed or in progress).
- Strong academic record and commitment to completing SAICA articles.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Own transport preferred.
- Must reside in Cape Town.
Compensation:
- Estimated Cost to Company: R13,325 per month (if CTA is not completed).
- R14,070 per month (if CTA is completed).
