About the position
DBN000129 – Sage X3 Developer - Hybrid South Africa
Purpose of the job:
To design, develop, and maintain custom solutions within the Sage X3 ERP system to meet specific business needs.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related field
- Proven Sage X3 development experience
- Strong SQL Server skills
- Knowledge of ERP finance, supply chain, and manufacturing modules
- Familiarity with APIs (REST/SOAP)
- SEI/BI tools exposure
- Experience with Sage X3 V12 upgrades
- Knowledge of Sage 300 People or Sage Intacct
Technical Competencies and responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom functionality in Sage X3 (4GL/SAFE X3, Crystal Reports, JavaScript).
- Work closely with consultants and clients to deliver technical solutions.
- Build and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and workflows.
- Customize dashboards and integrate with SEI or Power BI.
- Document architecture and support best practices.
