About the position

DBN000130– Sage Intacct Senior Consultant - Hybrid South Africa 
 
Purpose of the job:
To guide clients through the implementation, optimization, and support of Sage Intacct, a cloud-based financial management software. 
 
Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related field
  • 3+ years of Sage Intacct implementation experience.
  • Deep knowledge of core financials: GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Order Entry.
  • Excellent understanding of dimensions and reporting in Intacct.
  • Experience in SaaS, multi-entity, or nonprofit implementations.
  • Working knowledge of integration tools (e.g., Workato, Dell Boomi, custom API).
  • Familiarity with Sage Intacct Marketplace solutions (e.g., Nexonia, FloQast).

Technical Competencies and responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle implementations of Sage Intacct for clients across industries.
  • Configure financial modules, chart of accounts, dimensions, workflows, and reporting.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and translate requirements into deliverables.
  • Train users, support UAT, and manage go-live/post-go-live activities.
  • Work with integration partners or APIs to connect 3rd party systems.
