You're a detail-driven, organised safety professional who thrives in high-risk operational settings. You communicate clearly, lead confidently, and bring strong documentation and compliance abilities. With a collaborative mindset and sharp analytical skills, you're passionate about building and maintaining a proactive safety culture.
In this role, you'll implement, monitor, and refine safety management systems aligned with ISO 45001 standards. You'll lead risk assessments, site inspections, toolbox talks, and training sessions. You'll manage incident investigations and ensure documentation such as registers, PPE records, and safe work procedures are up to date. Working closely with the SHEC Manager, you'll also contribute to behavior-based safety processes, emergency planning, and compliance with OH&S, COID, and SANS standards.
You'll be part of a leading provider of powered access systems across Southern Africa, operating within a renowned international industrial group. Known for their commitment to operational safety and quality, this organisation supports industries like construction, mining, and industrial maintenance. Their culture promotes accountability, teamwork, and continuous professional development.
You must be SACPCMP registered (Officer or Manager level) and ideally hold a SAMTRAC qualification or equivalent. Practical experience in construction, industrial maintenance, or warehousing is essential. Familiarity with ISO systems, First Aid, Fire-fighting, Hazmat, and Working at Heights is desirable. Strong administrative, reporting, and MS Office skills are also key.
A rewarding role in a respected organisation where safety is more than compliance - it's culture. Expect a competitive salary, growth opportunities, and the chance to make a real impact in a high-performing SHEQ team.
