Rules and Tariff Consultant

About the position

Our client, a non-profit Medical Scheme seeks to employ a Rules and Tariff Consultant to ensure that tariffs and rules are loaded correctly.

Key responsibilities:

• To provide support to IT and ensure accurate tariffs and rules are loaded.
• Load new tariffs/ Nappi codes or modifiers to correct rules and communicate accordingly.
• Effective communication to staff and management on changes in the industry, Rules and tariffs.
• Proposals for improvement and enhancement of skills to Manager.
• Assistance to internal and external auditors with investigations, audits and queries.

Key requirements:

• Grade 12
• Diploma/ Degree in Business Management
• Minimum 5 years rules and tariffs experience within a medical scheme.
