RPA Business Analyst
JOB DESCRIPTION
Process
- Attending and engaging in RPA project meetings and reviews by contributing domain-specific knowledge and experience.
- Identify candidate business processes suited to Robotic Process Automation.
- Design, model and document RPA Solution Specifications.
- Ensure that business requirements are clearly identified, prioritised and satisfied by appropriate technical and or business process solutions.
- Provide process solution support to institutionalise RPA initiatives.
- Analyse and make recommendations about improvements to specialist systems, procedures, policies and practices.
- Reviewing and commenting upon business and functional requirement specifications for RPA projects and maintenance.
- Draw on own technical or professional expertise, knowledge and experience to identify and recommend tactical solutions to defined problems.
- Influence and communicate across business areas impacted by practice area to minimise resistance and ensure on-boarding of new thinking.
- Take accountability for delivery of contracted work outputs within agreed parameters, quality standards and client service targets.
- Proactively identify interconnected problems, determine its impact and develop best fit alternatives, developing best practice RPA solutions.
- Recommend changes to optimise processes, systems, practice areas and associated procedures and execute the implementation of change and innovation.
Client
- Ensure customer satisfaction by adhering to quality- and timeline expectations.
- Participate in the specialist practice community and contribute positively to body of knowledge.
- Provide authoritative, specialist expertise and advice to internal stakeholders.
Governance
- Ensure that completed work adhere to relevant policies, procedures, governance and legislative requirements and report on deviations and discrepancies.
People
- Provide specialist know-how, support, advice and practice thought leadership in area of expertise.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma in Business Analysis or relevant bachelor’s degree.
- 4 - 6 years' experience in a business analysis or similar environment, of which 2 -3 years specialising in RPA solutions.
- Proficiency in process modelling tools.
- Proficient in writing functional specifications.
- Familiar with RPA platforms, in particular Microsoft Power Platform.

- Ability to create reports for various SARS stakeholders as relevant, in a lucid and effective manner, keeping in mind the purpose of the reports.
