Robotics Lecturer (Contract) (CPT)

About the position

ENVIRONMENT:
JOIN the Cape Town campus of a dynamic Academic Institute seeking your lecturing experience to fill the role of a Robotics Lecturer on a part-time basis. You will lecture IT-related modules while assisting in the administration and departmental affairs and activities as required by the academic department. Candidates will need to possess a BSc. Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics or Computer Engineering with relevant lecturing experience including knowledge of Higher Education practices and processes and relevant research experience.

DUTIES:
Modules to be lectured: Machine Learning for Robotics, Mathematics for Robotics, Control Systems, Digital Electronics and Microcontrollers

• General administration.
• Set and mark of assessments.
• Preparation of notes and additional study materials.
• Quality Assurance.
• Management of At-risk students.

REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications -

• Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Computer Engineering.

Experience/Skills -

• Relevant lecturing experience.
• Necessary knowledge of Higher Education practices and processes.
• Relevant research experience.
