Job Title: Risk Manager - Agriculture / Mining / Chemicals Job Summary Minimum Requirements Supply Chain/Manufacturing/Mining/Chemicals: Engineering Degree Agriculture: Degree in Agricultural Economics or similar Postgraduate qualifications (Honours/Master's) and professional certifications in Risk Management (e.g., IRMSA, ISO 31000) are advantageous Experience Experience within complex environments such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Agriculture, Mining, or Chemicals Proficiency in ERM systems and risk analysis technologies Key Responsibilities Facilitate risk workshops and develop risk profiles across South Africa, Africa, and international operations Conduct deep dives into high-impact business risk areas Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk controls and mitigation plans Lead business continuity planning and response strategy implementation Monitor and manage the division's risk exposure against defined thresholds Promote a culture of risk awareness and accountability Report regularly to operational and executive management forums Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including outsourced risk service providers Technical Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills Self-starter and collaborative team player Time management and leadership abilities Knowledge of King IV™ governance principles Working knowledge of ISO 31000 risk frameworks Core Competencies

Education
Shared Services: Degree in Finance, Legal, or Engineering
8-10 years' experience in enterprise risk management
Support divisional teams in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risk using ERM systems
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
