We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Procurement Manager to lead and strengthen the procurement function. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, building strong local and international supplier relationships, negotiating competitive agreements, and ensuring a reliable supply of goods and services.
This is a senior management opportunity for a strategic leader with extensive procurement, international sourcing, import and export, logistics, and commercial contracting experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the procurement strategy in line with business objectives, managing budgets and spending while achieving competitive pricing, quality, and reliable supply.
- Build and maintain strong local and international supplier relationships, lead commercial negotiations, and oversee import and export processes, including documentation and compliance.
- Lead and develop the procurement team, maintain procurement policies and approval procedures, and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and operational performance.
Minimum Requirements
- 8–10+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, and/or supply chain management.
- Significant experience at senior management level.
- Proven experience managing and developing a procurement or buying team.
- Extensive practical knowledge of import and export processes.
- Strong understanding of international sourcing, logistics, customs, and commercial documentation.
- Experience in supplier negotiations and commercial agreements.
- Knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, governance, and approval frameworks.
