You're a natural relationship builder who thrives in the investment world, blending technical understanding with commercial acumen. You enjoy engaging with Financial Advisers, are confident presenting complex investment ideas, and have the credibility to influence key decision-makers. You're driven, professional and proactive, always ready to take initiative and deliver exceptional service.
You'll be managing and expanding a portfolio of retail investment clients. Your focus will be on selling investment funds and model portfolios to IFAs while growing the organisation's footprint across Gauteng, the Western Cape or Garden Route. You'll build trusted partnerships with advisers, identify opportunities to collaborate with other fund managers, and play a central role in driving the brand's visibility and reputation in the retail investment space.
You'll join a highly respected, award winning investment management business known for its disciplined, evidence-based approach to investing. If based in Gauteng or Cape Town, you will work hybrid, if based in the Garden Route, you will ge to work remotely or hybrid from George.
A completed finance degree is essential, along with at least five years' experience in a similar client-facing investment role. You'll bring a solid network of IFAs, a sound grasp of investment products and structures, and the ability to communicate quantitative investment concepts clearly. Strong presentation, writing, and influencing skills will help you stand out. Own reliable transport is essential and you need to be fluent in Afrikaans and English.
