About the position

Retail Executive
Retail Executive

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Visit and engage with national buyers and area managers.
  • Negotiate and implement national and regional deals and promotions.
  • Drive and monitor budget achievement against sales targets.
  • Oversee the performance and compliance of distributors.
  • Manage store investment allocations and issued assets.
  • Deliver strategic presentations to various customer groups.
  • Monitor competitor activity and respond accordingly.
  • Conduct national and regional sales reviews.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients and distributors.
  • Submit accurate and complete monthly reports to the Managing Director.
  • Attend management and board meetings.
  • Train and mentor staff for enhanced performance.

Management Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise Service Managers across regions.
  • Set monthly sales targets and monitor performance.
  • Plan and attend store openings.
  • Manage performance, development, and succession planning.
  • Uphold discipline, manage leave, and monitor job descriptions.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and training reviews.

Qualifications
  • Matric with exemption.
  • Diploma in Sales and Marketing Management (essential).

Experience


  • 6-8 years in a similar sales or retail management role.


  • Strong product knowledge, sales skills, and experience working with key accounts.


  • Background in customer service and distributor management.
