The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the restaurant, overseeing staff performance, maintaining service standards, and supporting marketing efforts. This role demands hands-on leadership, a passion for service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations including opening, closing, cleanliness, and equipment upkeep
• Coordinate with the kitchen regarding stock levels
• Manage inventory and supplies effectively
• Monitor and guide staff performance, offering regular feedback
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
• Ensure a consistently high standard of guest experience
• Address customer concerns and special requests professionally
• Promote a customer-focused culture among staff
• Contribute to marketing efforts to drive traffic
• Manage social media and online review platforms
• Provide support across all areas as needed (serving, cleaning, kitchen)
• Lead by example in attitude, ethics, and performance
• Perform daily cash-ups

Requirements:

• 2-4 years' experience in a restaurant management role
• Proven leadership of 22 or more staff members
• Strong customer service and complaint resolution skills
• Knowledge of inventory management, food safety, and health regulations
• Competent in conflict resolution and team coaching
• Computer literate

Remuneration:
R14 000 - R17 000
Retail hours Including Weekends & Public Holidays
