About the position

Residential & Commercial Security Consultant
Location: Gauteng
Remuneration Package: Negotiable package around negotiable between R12k to R15k plus travel allowance (R5k), fuel card, tools of the trade and high commission earnings. High-performing consultant can realistically earn R40,000 per month, depending on effort and territory coverage

An established home improvement and security solutions company is seeking a highly motivated Residential & Commercial Security Consultant to join our sales team in Gauteng.
This opportunity is ideal for a driven, entrepreneurial sales professional who thrives in a high-performance, commission-driven environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for consulting with homeowners, contractors, and businesses to provide tailored security door and aluminium solutions that enhance safety, aesthetics, and property value.
We are looking for someone who is energetic, confident with clients, technically minded, and passionate about achieving exceptional sales results.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Performance

  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Proactively generate new business opportunities within the residential and commercial markets.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with homeowners, developers, contractors, and businesses.
  • Provide professional consultations and recommend security solutions suited to each client's needs.
  • Maintain excellent after-sales service to encourage referrals and repeat business.

Consultative Sales Approach

  • Conduct on-site assessments and advise clients on suitable security door and aluminium solutions.
  • Interpret basic technical drawings and specifications where required.
  • Present product options and benefits in a clear, professional manner.

Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings
  • Valid, unendorsed driver's licence
  • Own reliable vehicle
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve sales targets

Advantageous:

  • Sales or Marketing qualification
  • Experience in home improvement, aluminium products, construction, or security products
  • Proven track record in external sales
