Rentals Administrator

About the position

Well established company in Centurion seeks a Rentals Administrator
Minimum Requirements 

1) Microsoft Literacy is required
2) In-office Position
3) 3 Years Experience in this field
4) Degree/Diploma in Business or similar advantageous 
5)Experience in container industry advantageous 
5) Strong attention to detail, organisatonal skills, and communication skills are important
6) Driver’s license and own transport required (and close to Centurion)
7) Reside within 30km of Centurion

Duties 

• Track and follow up on outstanding rental repair jobs to ensure deadlines are met
• Maintain accurate records and filing systems for all rental documentation
• Assist in forecasting rental demand and upcoming repair requirements
• Coordinate with logistics and transport teams to ensure timely deliveries and collections
• Monitor turnaround times for rental repairs and identify delays
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in the yard and workshop
• Conduct final inspections before dispatch to ensure units meet client standards
• Handle and resolve client queries or complaints related to rental units
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise rental processes
• Assist with training or guidance of junior staff within the rental yard
• Monitor equipment condition trends and report recurring issues
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are available for repair work
• Liaise with suppliers for parts required in rental repairs
• Prepare weekly or monthly performance reports on rentals and repairs
• Support stock audits and cycle counts when required
