About the position

Do you have strong theatre experience and Cath Lab exposure, and thrive in a fast-paced, highly specialised clinical environment?
An exciting opportunity is available on the East Rand for a theatre-trained Registered Nurse to join a technically advanced healthcare environment. This role is ideally suited to a confident, detail-driven nurse who enjoys working with specialised procedures and wants to broaden their expertise across theatre and interventional cardiac care.

Requirements:

• Registered with SANC.
• A diploma/degree in Nursing.
• A post basic qualification in Operating Theatre Nursing is essential.
• Previous theatre scrub experience, within a private hospital, is vital.
• Cath lab experience is imperative.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, aseptic techniques, and patient safety protocols.
• Able to assist during specialised interventional and cardiac procedures.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organisational skills.
• Willing to participate in standby and call systems, if required.
• Computer literate.
• Accurate clinical documentation abilities.
