About the position
An established healthcare facility in Mthatha, Eastern Cape is seeking a Theatre-qualified Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced surgical environment. This role is suited to a clinically strong nurse who thrives in theatre settings and is confident supporting a wide range of surgical procedures.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery.
- Post Basic qualification in Operating Theatre Nursing.
- Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience within a theatre environment.
- Sound knowledge of theatre protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team.
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
