About the position
Our client is seeking a Registered Nurse with theatre experience to become part of a dedicated perioperative team. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional nursing care within the operating theatre.
- Prepare patients and theatre equipment for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and the multidisciplinary team during operations.
- Ensure infection prevention and patient safety protocols are maintained.
- Monitor patients throughout the perioperative process.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Requirements
- Registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse.
- Previous theatre nursing experience.
- Sound knowledge of theatre procedures and sterile techniques.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to quality patient care.
