Private Hospital client seeks to appoint a RN within a busy PICU unit with Shift Leading experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Audit of health records to ensure compliance
• Ensure all stock is controlled and well managed
• Keep abreast of current research in the dicipline
• Contribute to the holistic care of patients
• Attend handover of report at shift commencement
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care

Key requirements:

• Registration with SANC as a Registered Nurse.
• Diploma in Critical Care Nursing - essential
• 4 - 5 years experience within PICU
• Thorough knowledge of specialized nursing theory and practice
• Extensive knowledge of modern nursing care principles and practices in the highly specialised field of the intensive care nursing
• Previous hospital experience in a private sector and PICU is essential
