About the position
A high-acuity ICU role is available in Durban North for a nurse who is confident managing critically ill patients within a disciplined and clinically demanding environment. This position requires consistent, advanced patient-care delivery and steady professional judgement.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Nursing
- Post-Basic qualification in ICU
- Minimum 3 years ICU experience
- SANC registered
- Strong proficiency in ventilator management, haemodynamic monitoring, and critical care protocols
- Ability to work confidently with critically ill and high-dependency patients
- Effective communication and teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary ICU setting
