Location: Cape Town - West CoastSalary: Market relatedRef: MVG/RNICU A private Hospital, in Cape Town is seeking a professional nurse (ICU Trained) who will remain responsible for the assessment, planning and implementation of individual and holistic nursing care. Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate patients care the concept of the multi-disciplinary team.
• Serve as a clinical resource in assisting personnel to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in the unit.
• Ensure communication between nursing management and unit to eliminate patient care problems / issues.
• Assess, plan, and implement advanced care in a specialized field in accordance with standard nursing care procedures.

Key requirements:- At least 2 years ICU experience in a busy ICU- Grade 12 / Matric.- Registered Nurse with the South African Nursing Council- 12 month Post Basic qualification in Critical Care - Essential- Ventilator competent - advantageous- Thorough knowledge of specialized nursing care practice.
