About the position
- Monitor the work and overall performance of regional protection services technology systems for all operations.
- Evaluate and ensure processing performance relating to system and machine utilisation, reliability and capacity
- Forecast financial, physical, and IM service specialists concerning protection services Infrastructure linking to CCTV/ alarm systems and Video Management Systems (VMS).
- Manage all risks relating to the protection services environment.
- Manage costs associated with the protection services transparently and effectively, including investment choices and budgeting to ensure equipment is “healthy.”
- Own a monthly, global service delivery review with the protection services vendors, with input from the regions
- Act as the subject matter escalation point for regional incidents or complex site incidents related to protection services infrastructure.
- Manage the performance of the vendors, and ensure they are meeting or exceeding their contractual commitments for services and projects, including those delivered directly to the BU’s
- Understand technological trends and use this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise’s competitive edge
- Oversee and coordinate frameworks, designs, blueprints and restoration plans that isolate problems and implement pre-planned alternative routes or systems to restore service in the protection services environment.
- Develop business and technology standards and best practices for the protection services environment in all operations and disciplines.
- Requirements Analysis involves gathering and analyzing users' and stakeholders' requirements to understand their needs and expectations for protection management systems.
- System Design: Designing the architecture and components of protection services management systems, including video management systems, surveillance infrastructure and access control.
- Integration Planning: Planning and implementing integration between different protection services management systems and other enterprise systems to facilitate seamless data exchange and interoperability.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitoring the performance of protection services management systems and optimizing their configuration, resources, and processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability
Minimum Requirements:
An undergraduate qualification (bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in the relevant IM Discipline and Technical
Translating ideas into practical initiatives to be implemented and a demonstration of successful execution and delivery of initiatives within the Project Management area.
