Our Client is seeking an experienced Real Estate Manager: New Site Growth to lead the expansion of their retail footprint across the Inland region. This is an exciting opportunity to shape long-term site strategy, secure high-value locations, and play a pivotal role in growing their Brands.
Reporting to the Senior Manager: Real Estate - Inland
Purpose of the role:
In this strategic and high-impact position, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing new retail sites that support a 36-month growth plan. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, present proposals to senior stakeholders, and negotiate leases that align with business objectives. Your expertise will help ensure the Group continues to thrive in competitive markets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and contribute to new site growth strategies and sales targets for the region
- Conduct market and site analyses to support informed decision-making
- Collaborate with Operations, Development, Finance, and other stakeholders on feasibility studies
- Present new site proposals to internal committees and forums
- Negotiate and conclude lease agreements in line with company policies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property developers, landlords, and the broader real estate community
- Provide real estate support to retailers and contribute to capability building within the region
- Deliver monthly reports and updates to senior leadership
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Legal, or a related field
- 10+ years real estate sector experience, preferably in retail
- 8+ years of lease negotiation and agreement management experience
- Proven track record in achieving growth targets and managing multiple priorities
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively
- Strong commercial acumen and exceptional negotiation skills
- Ability to understand and draft legal documents
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and handle high-stress environments
- Strong influencing and stakeholder-engagement abilities
