About the position
Our client is a leading wealth management and financial services organisation seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead business performance across the KZN region. This strategic leadership role is responsible for driving sales growth, operational excellence, client satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and the development of high-performing teams while contributing to the organisation's long-term growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales and business development strategies.
- Drive regional revenue, profitability, and market share growth.
- Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop regional management and sales teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee operational performance, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Drive operational efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with FAIS, FICA, AML, POPIA, and other applicable legislation.
- Analyse regional performance and prepare strategic reports for executive leadership.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations, and Compliance to achieve business objectives.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
- Postgraduate qualification advantageous.
- RE5 qualification advantageous.
- CFP® or other relevant financial planning qualifications advantageous.
Experience
- 5–10 years' experience within financial services, banking, insurance, wealth management, or investment services.
- 3–5 years' experience in a senior management or regional leadership role.
- Proven experience leading multi-site operations.
- Strong background in business development, sales leadership, and client relationship management.
- Wealth management experience preferred.
