About the position
Lead and drive a high-performing consulting team delivering standout healthcare, retirement, and EB advice to large corporates. Is this you? You're a confident people leader with a strong medical aid and retirement brokerage background, preferably from a well-established franchise. You're a self-driven, highly motivated sales professional who thrives in a high-performance B2B environment. You're organised, commercially minded, calm under pressure, and available when clients need you, even outside traditional work hours. You have the energy and hunger to build something meaningful. You have strong relationship skills, a growth mindset, and the DNA of a finisher, someone who gets things done without being micromanaged. What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) You'll lead a team of brokers servicing major corporate clients and branch customers in pharma, national retailers, and established corporates across the Western Cape region. You'll own and grow this portfolio, managing capacity, supervising senior consultants through weekly workflows, and handling escalated queries. You'll attend and influence client and provider meetings, compile strategic reports, and spot cross-selling opportunities with the full support of South Africa's largest corporate sales team behind you. Where you'll be doing it You'll join the largest independent, South African-owned, Black-owned financial services advisory firm in the B2B space, serving 7,300 businesses countrywide. Your team is purpose-led, values-driven with a collaborative culture and strong client partnerships across the region. You'll be based in Century City, Cape Town with the option to work from anywhere 2 days a week. What you'll need Minimum 5 years' medical aid brokerage experience (B2B essential) with secondary experience in retirement funds with at least 3 years' people management experience. You hold a Matric and FAIS Fit & Proper compliance (NQF5 with Regulatory Exams), ideally a Higher Certificate in Financial Planning. Strong MS Office, excellent English and Afrikaans proficiency and a valid driver's licence are essential. What you'll get A competitive package with benefits, commission, meaningful client impact, and the support of a driven leadership team. You'll join a culture like no other where you will get direct mentorship from the founder.
