About the position

Our client is looking for 2 Regional Key Account Manager with excellence as a Solutions sales person in the IT space to the Private Sector. Experience selling to the private sector throughout South Africa is preferred. A specifc geographical area will be discussed in an interview. Previous sales and understanding of IT (ESM) will ensure a confident transition into this role. Please note that this is an office based role at Centurion offices. Travelling to the specific target region will be required from time to time.

Main functions:

  • Cold calling on new business in Cape Town, Western Cape or Eastern Coastline.
  • Provide continuous service to existing key accounts in either Cape Town, Western Cape or Eastern Coastline.
  • Execute repeatable sales cycles and follow through on leads.
  • Well versed with proposals, SOW's, contract negotiation and closing.
  • Update CRM accurately throughout the sales cycle.
  • Compilations of and conduct presentations and product demos to prospective customers.
  • Existing, new and upselling including after market service excellence.
  • Regular sales reporting and forecasting.

Requirements:

  • 4+ Years software management sales experience.
  • Willingness to travel within South Africa on a regular basis (Sleep outs required).
  • Track record of selling and closing technical solutions.
  • Strong working knowledge and comfortable selling software.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales goals and expectations.
  • Solution-led conversation at the C-Suite level.
  • Negotiating skills and closing techniques.

A market related basic salary will be offered. Bonus and commission structures to be discussed in an interview.
