About the position
Our Client, an established global engineering and industrial technology organisation is seeking a Regional Key Account Manager to drive industrial equipment sale.
This role focuses on developing and managing strategic industrial customers within the food processing sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing territory revenue, building long term partnerships and executing regional sales strategies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven track record of territory management with demonstrated year on year revenue growth
- Minimum 3 years experience selling equipment into the food industry
- Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region
- Own reliable vehicle
- Valid drivers license
- Strong knowledge of MS Office
- Experience working with CRM systems and ERP software such as SAP B1
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
The Role:
- Promote and grow sales of industrial equipment within the assigned region
- Develop and manage relationships with regional and national industrial customers
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and prospecting
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met
- Understand customer operational needs and propose suitable technical solutions
- Negotiate and close sales opportunities
- Maintain accurate forecasting and sales reporting
- Execute territory plans to meet and exceed revenue targets
