Refrigeration Technician

About the position

Role Description:

• Weekly retail store visits
• Assessing store equipment and preparing of reports for repairs
• Repair self-contained refrigeration units, cold rooms, display cases and general electrical repairs on refrigeration equipment
• Manage customer expectations and relationships
• Communicate estimated repair work timelines to customers
• Control and manage van stock
• Control and management of small storage unit with stock
• Maintain and manage company vehicle (cleanliness and services up to date)
• Continuous improvement and knowledge of refrigeration systems
• Able to work out of country

Skills requirements

• Qualified refrigeration mechanic (commercial) trade tested
• Valid drivers license
• Problem and conflict management skills
• Technical ability
