3-Year Fixed Term Contract

Our client, a leading organisation within the healthcare and biotechnology sector, is seeking to appoint an experienced and strategic Recruitment Manager to join their team on a 3-year fixed-term contract. This role will be based onsite at the client’s offices; however, the successful candidate will remain employed by and operate as an extension of our recruitment team.
We are looking for a dynamic, proactive, and solutions-driven recruitment professional with strong leadership capabilities and a passion for building high-performing teams and recruitment strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned to business objectives
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessments, selection, and onboarding
- Lead and mentor the recruitment team to ensure high performance and service delivery excellence
- Partner closely with business leaders to forecast hiring needs and build strong talent pipelines
- Drive employer branding and candidate engagement initiatives
- Monitor recruitment metrics and optimise recruitment processes for efficiency and quality
- Manage recruitment budgets and external vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation, POPIA, and internal recruitment policies
- Promote inclusive hiring practices and support diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and reporting dashboards
- Support succession planning, talent retention, and continuous improvement initiatives
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ recruitment or talent acquisition experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
- Proven experience managing high-volume or strategic recruitment functions
- Strong stakeholder management and team leadership skills
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter
- Strong reporting and analytics capability (Excel, Power BI, or HR analytics tools)
- Solid understanding of South African labour legislation including EEA, BCEA, LRA, SDA, and POPIA
- Experience within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology sector will be advantageous
