About the position

Recruitment Consultant (Remote from anywhere in SA)
Market-related package on offer, depending on experience (R20K-R30K base plus commission - earn up to 50% of your billings)

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Recruitment Consultant to join our organisation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from identifying client hiring needs to sourcing, interviewing, and placing qualified candidates. This role requires strong interpersonal, sales and organizational skills, as well as a passion for connecting people with the right career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to understand their recruitment needs.
  • Write, post, and manage job advertisements across multiple platforms.
  • Source and screen candidates through databases, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct interviews and assess candidates' suitability for roles.
  • Coordinate interviews between clients and candidates, and provide feedback to both parties.
  • Negotiate job offers, contracts, and salary packages.
  • Meet or exceed individual targets and KPIs.
  • Keep accurate records of recruitment activities using an in-house system

Requirements

  • Minimum educational requirement, Matric. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Sales, Business, or a related field advantageous
  • Proven experience and track record as a Recruitment Consultant
  • Solid business development skills and ability to secure new business
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Target-driven and ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously
  • Experience working with job boards (Pnet, CareerJunction etc.)
