About the position

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Fourways. This is a great opportunity for someone who has already gained some experience in recruitment, talent sourcing, or HR support and is ready to take the next step.

We are looking for a self-starter, someone who is proactive, goal-driven, and capable of working independently. Success in this role requires initiative and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Candidate Sourcing: Identify, engage, and build relationships with candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, and internal tools
  • Screening & Interviewing: Conduct initial interviews to assess suitability and prepare candidates for client interviews
  • Job Advertising: Write and manage job postings across various platforms
  • Client Collaboration: Understand client needs and deliver against recruitment briefs
  • Candidate Experience: Manage the end-to-end candidate journey with professionalism and care
  • Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our ATS/CRM
  • Market Awareness: Keep informed of industry and hiring trends
  • KPI & Target Management: Consistently meet weekly and monthly performance metrics

Requirements

Must Have:

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a recruitment, resourcing, or HR environment
  • Proven ability to source and screen candidates
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Tech-savvy with working knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace / AI / LinkedIn

Advantageous:

  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, or CRM systems
  • Exposure to client-facing or sales environments
  • Understanding of recruitment life cycle and basic HR practices
