About the position
Job Purpose:
The Recruitment Assistant will support the Senior Recruitment Consultant in all aspects of the recruitment process. This role is ideal for a proactive individual looking to develop a career in recruitment, with excellent prospects to advance to a Recruitment Consultant position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist a Senior Recruitment Consultant with administrative support throughout the recruitment process.
- Source candidates for open positions using various job application portals.
- Conduct telephonic screenings and discuss job opportunities with potential candidates.
- Facilitate interviews between candidates, consultants, and clients.
- Create and post job adverts on job search platforms.
- Conduct reference checks for candidates.
- Facilitate qualification verifications, criminal record checks, and ITC evaluations through MIE.
- Update and maintain candidate and client information on the ADAPT CRM database.
- Type and update CVs.
- Manage a calendar and scheduling for a consultant.
- Complete Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and submit documentation as required.
Requirements:
- Previous administrative or recruitment experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database management.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
