Our client is seeking a professional, friendly, and highly organised Receptionist to join their Head Office in Germiston. This is an excellent opportunity for a well-presented individual with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a busy office environment and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and manage the company switchboard, attending to all incoming telephone enquiries professionally.
- Welcome, assist, and direct clients and visitors.
- Forward telephone messages promptly via email to the relevant employees.
- Arrange courier collections and deliveries.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, postage, and packages.
- Perform general reception, secretarial, administrative, and filing duties.
- Assist the Sales Administration team with administrative functions.
- Assist with invoicing on the Navision (Microsoft) system when required.
- Update Excel spreadsheets daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Arrange tea and coffee for visitors, or prepare refreshments when necessary.
- Perform any other reasonable administrative duties as required.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) is essential.
- Secretarial or Office Administration qualification will be advantageous.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Well-presented with a professional telephone manner.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop.
- Reliable transport to and from work.
- Applicants MUST currently reside in Gauteng.
