About the position

Receptionist required for a co-ed school providing switchboard, reception, clerical and administration support. This role requires a self-autonomous individual who is resourceful, a good problem solver, detail-focused, and can work in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Completed Matric
  • Certificate / Diploma in Office Management / Secretarial Management or similar an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant reception and administrative experience
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety protocols or hold a valid First Aid Level 1 (or higher) certificate
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and assisting visitors, students and parents
  • Handling and routing incoming calls
  • Assist with student check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and recorded accurately
  • Administrative support - data capturing, filing, and document preparation
  • Monitor and control access to the school premises, following established security protocols
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of visitors, appointments, and phone calls for reference and security purposes.
