Answer all incoming calls promptly and professionally — clear greeting, warm tone, accurate understanding of the caller's needs
Transfer calls to the correct person or department efficiently — know who handles what across the firm so callers are never bounced between wrong extensions
Take accurate, complete messages when the intended recipient is unavailable — caller name, contact number, time of call and the nature of the query — and deliver the message immediately
Manage the reception email inbox where applicable — routing enquiries to the correct person promptly
Apply the firm's communication response policy — same day before 15:00, by 11:00 the following business day if received after 15:00
