About the position

Well established company in Germiston seeks a Receptionist / Administrator to join their
Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial contact point for all visitors and incoming communications, creating a positive and professional first impression
  • Handle phone and email inquiries, directing them to the correct individuals or departments as needed
  • Keep the front-of-house area tidy, presentable, and organized throughout the day
  • Provide administrative assistance including data capture, document sorting, and routine clerical support
  • Work regularly with Excel for basic reporting and financial updates
  • Support with reconciling basic accounts related to payments and receipts when required
  • Gather and organize monthly receipts and expense slips for fuel and company card usage
  • Coordinate internal bookings such as meetings, appointments, and room reservations
  • Oversee the sorting and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Assist teams across the business with day-to-day administrative tasks as assigned
  • Monitor and replenish office supplies, stationery, and kitchen essentials
  • Uphold confidentiality protocols when handling sensitive or private information

Candidate Profile:
  • Previous experience in a front-desk or office support role is essential
  • Competent with Microsoft Office tools — especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and able to manage time and competing priorities efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and in a team setting
  • Professional demeanor with a service-oriented attitude
