Receiving / Dispatch Supervisor – Food Manufacturing

About the position

A well-established market leader specialising in the manufacturing and distribution of seasoning blends requires the above to coordinate and ensure that all raw materials and food products are dispatched and received accurately and on time working closely with the operations manager.
Minimum requirements for the role:

• A minimum matric is required for this role.
• Must be computer literate (email, word, excel).
• Must have good communication and people skills.
• Previous experience having worked within a receiving and or dispatch role is essential for the role.
• Previous experience working within the food or related manufacturing or distribution markets is preferred.
• Must be computer literate with basic Excel skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Coordinating and ensuring that all raw materials and food products are dispatched and received accurately and on time working closely with the operations manager.
• Assisting the operations manager with all aspects of warehousing and dispatching and receiving daily.
• Ensuring excellent housekeeping in storage areas, backyard and building surrounds.
• Liaising with pest control company and arranging fumigation of the building when needed.
• Transferring approved stock internally to their different warehouses on a national basis.
• Ensuring that correct stock is dispatched in the right quantities to the different areas on a national basis.
